    Your Ghana Card PIN is your TIN

    For individuals, the Ghana Card PIN has been the TIN since 1 April 2021. Getting a TIN is free.

    No Ghana Card? Register at an NIA centre or an NIA desk at selected GRA offices. See Get a Ghana Card.

    Had an old TIN? Link it

    Take your old TIN and Ghana Card to any GRA office, or link them yourself on the GRA self-service portal. Link every TIN you have.

    Sign up on the Taxpayers Portal

    Open taxpayersportal.com, tap Sign up and enter your Ghana Card number.

    Log in to file and pay

    The official GRA Taxpayers Portal log-in page

    Log in with your Ghana Card number to register for a tax type, file returns and pay.

    Businesses: register with ORC first

    Companies and business names get a TIN from GRA after registering with ORC. GRA's TIN Centre is on the Registrar-General's Department premises. See Register a business.

    Companies keep using their GRA TIN, not a Ghana Card PIN.
